1. Click “RemoteCam Icon” on the user’s desktop screen.

Or click “Tray Icon” on the lower right-hand side of Windows.

2. Software Update
If update is not necessary, the RemoteCam Software will run.



The software has been successfully updated. Click “Okay” to continue.
3. Starting RemoteCam Software

A. Your Cell Phone number : Enter the user’s cell phone number.
The service cannot be used with an invalid phone number.
B. Password: Enter the password that was registered at the RemoteCam Service.
• Use the registered password to log-in.
• Password can be changed only through the user’s mobile phone.
C. Computer Name: Enter the desired Computer Name for the selected computer.
D. Menu

Click “Menu” on the upper left-hand side to use other various functions.
E. Click “Log-in” after entering all necessary information.
4. Log-in Failed
Re-enter the correct ID and/or Password.

6. Add New Camera
To add another video camera, click “Add New Camera” button.
7. Add New Camera/Configuration
a. Web CAM Option
1. Video Name : Enter the desired “Video Name” for the selected video.
The “Video Name” will be added to the video list on the user’s mobile phone
2. Video Input : List of installed Web Cameras. Displays a list of installed web cameras. Select one.
3. Video Size : Adjust the size of the video to be displayed.
4. Video Quality : Adjust the quality of the video file that will be transmitted.
The quality of video may vary based on Internet speed and/or other circumstances.
5. The file transfer may be delayed if video quality is set to “High” while lower speed Internet is used.
6. Display Video
To preview selected videos, click the “Display Video” button.
b. Motion Detection Option
1. Sensitivitiy of Motion Detection : Sensitivity level of the motion detection censor can be adjusted.
2. Send SMS
• SMS Alert will be sent to the user’s mobile phone when any motion is detected.
• Min time qap between SMS’s 00 Sec : The SMS Alert for the detected motion can be sent repeatedly based on the time set by the user.
3. Save
Video at the time of the motion detected will be saved automatically. You can adjust the length of the video to be saved.
> Save Folder : \RemoteCam\recording\
> Saving time before motion detection XX Sec : Video Recording Time prior to the motion detected.
> Saving time after motion detection XX SEC : Video Recording time post detected motion.
4. Motion Detection Test
• As motion is detected, the Video Preview Screen will turn red.
• Sensitivity level of the Motion Dectection should be adjusted based on the indication of the red screen.

• Click “Apply” after set-up has been completed.
• You are now ready to use RemoteCam Service.
> The selected video on the list below will be highlighted in green.

8. Starting RemoteCam
A. Click “Start” button.

B. RemoteCam Software will transmit Real-time video from the selected Webcamera.

9. Useful Tips
A. Config

• Set Motion Detection functions for each Video.
• Refer to Step #7 - Add New Camera/Configuration.
B. Share

• Add more mobile phone numbers to share videos.
• Added mobile phone users can check real-time videos.
• There is a limit of 5 mobile phone numbers for each video.
• Phone numbers can be deleted at any time.
• Select a phone number and click “Remove” to delete.

c. schedule

• Set Schedule
1. One Time : Select to record video only once.
2. Periodical : Select to record video regularly.
3. Start Time : Select the time to begin video recording.
4. Recording Duration : The duration of video recording time.
5. To save the set schedule, click “Apply”.
• Schedule List
1. List of saved schedules.
2. You can add / delete saved schedules.
• Recordings Saved Path
The saved video file path based on the saved schedules.
1. Default Path : C:\Program Files\RemoteCam\recording
2. Save Folder and Path can be changed.

10. Sign of Service Condtions



A. Service
1. Green Light
i. RemoteCam Service is currently Active
ii. Video Streaming is effective and in normal state.
2. Red Light
i. RemoteCam Service cannot be activated at the moment
ii. The Service is disconnected due to internet connection problems.
B. Streaming
1. Green Light
i. User is monitoring the Real-time Video with the mobile phone.
ii. The video can be monitored by all accounts/users.
2. Red Light
i. The mobile phone is not connected.
ii. No user is connected to the video.
C. Scheduling
1. Green Light
i. Video Recording is active based on saved schedules.
ii. Video is recording.
2. Red Light
i. No schedule has been saved.
D. Motion
1. Green Light
i. At the time of motion detection
ii. SMS/SAVE has to be selected from the “Motion Detection Option” to operate.
2. Red Light
i. No motion has been detected.
ii. Motion Detection set-up is not completed.
11. Additional Functions
A. List of WebCamera Video
• Displays list of installed web camera videos.
• Videos can be displayed by selecting a desired web camera from the list.
• Videos can be selected by right or left clicking the Video Name.

B. Deleting Video List

• Click “X DEL” to delete the highlighted video.
• Click “Add New Camera” and set up to add videos (refer to Step 6).
C. Menu

• Login / Logout: You can log in or out.
• Setting:


Setting -> Recording Path: You can check and/or adjust the Video Recording Path.

• About: You can check the RemoteCam Software version and copyright information.


• Open
• Exit: You can close and exit the RemoteCam Software.
