A. View Video Files
• Selected saved Video Files can be played at any time.
• Selected Video Files are saved in the PC for each Video Name.

• RemoteCam Software also provides Recording Scheduler and Sync.

A. One Time: Select a day to record the video only once.

C. SMS Setting
• As motion is detected by the Video Monitoring web-cam, an SMS Alert message will be sent to the user mobile phone.
• • Select “YES” from the SMS set up to receive Alert Messages for detected motions.
Additional fees may be charged based on the subscription terms & services.
D. Shared Video
• User can select Mobile Phone Numbers to share the Videos with.
• Enter the Mobile Phone Number and click “ADD” to share the selected videos.
1. To view the videos, the recipient must be a RemoteCam Service user.
2. User is entirely responsible for the security of all shared videos.
3. To discontinue the video sharing, the Phone Number must be deleted.

Thank you for downloading the premiere RemoteCam video surveillance application for your mobile device! To get started, you will need to setup a user account with RemoteCam. Simply launch the application after download.
Select the Get New ID option at the bottom to get started.
You will be directed to the Sign Up screen. Enter your mobile phone number in the first box, which you will use as your "ID" to login. Enter your password (which must be a minimum of four characters) in the box below, and again in the next box to confirm. You can optionally enter a username and email address.
Select Create Account to confirm your account information. You will shown the Terms of Service of the RemoteCam application.

Carefully read through the Terms of Service. Select Accept to proceed into the RemoteCam application.
You will now be directed to the Watch my Cam menu. This is the main menu you will be directed to each time you login to RemoteCam.

NOTE: On the login screen, selecting Save Password will store the password so you do not need to enter it each time you start the application. Selecting Automatic Log-In will automatically log you in to your RemoteCam mobile application each time you launch it.

The Watch my Cam list is your main menu for the RemoteCam application. Once you add a webcam through your RemoteCam PC software, it will automatically appear on your camera list here.
Simply click on the camera name to be directed to real-time feed from that webcam on your device.

Alternatively, you can perform a long click on the camera name and choose "Play" to view the video feed, along with other options

RemoteCam also allows you to receive SMS alerts to your mobile number if motion is detected at one of your preset locations.
Long click the camera name for which you receive to an SMS Alert for if motion is detected at that location. Check off the "SMS" option, and you will receive an SMS Alert to the mobile number on your account whenever motion is detected from that webcam.
4. Favorites and Groups
You can organize your webcams into Favorites and Groups for a more organized view.
• Favorites
Access the Watch my Cam menu, and select the MENU button on your device.

Select Favorites to bring up a list of your favorite cameras.

To add your camera to the Favorites list, long click the camera name from the Watch my Cam list, and check off Favorite box from the camera options menu.

Alternately, you can select “Edit Favorites” from the Favorites menu to add to the list.


• Groups
You can create multiple groups to further organize your camera list.
Select the + icon next to "Group" on the Watch my Cam list, or use the menu button and "Group" option, to access the group editing menu.

Select "Add Group" at the bottom of the menu to add a new group.

Enter your group name and select OK.
Your created groups will appear under in the Edit Group menu list.
To add a camera to any group, long click the camera name from the main Watch my Cam list, and select “Add to Group”.
A list of all available groups will be shown. Select the group you'd like to add that camera to, and it will then appear under the group name on the Watch my Cam list.


If a camera has already been added to a group, you can long click the camera name and select “Edit Group” to edit its settings.

When accessing the Group editing menu, you can also delete groups and individual cameras from groups. In the Group editing menu, select "Edit". You will be shown a deletion option (red minus icon) for both groups and cameras assign to groups. Touch the delete icon to delete either one.

RemoteCam users may also share their cameras with one another that they can view on their own RemoteCam application.
To share a camera with another user, long click the camera name from the list and choose Share Cam.

A list of the camera's currently shared user displays. Select the + icon to add a new shared user to that camera.

Enter the phone number of the RemoteCam user you'd like to share the camera with and select OK, or choose from a list of numbers from your phone's contacts to add sharing view for.

If another user shares their camera with you, you view the camera from the main Watch my Cam list. Shared cameras are represented by the three-headed icon to the left of the camera name.

NOTE: You cannot set the SMS option or set recording schedules for cameras which are being shared with you.
6. Recorded Files
RemoteCam also features an option which allows users to record, store, and view video files.
Long click the camera name you wish to add a recording schedule for. You may not set up recording schedules for a camera being shared with you.
Select “Recording Schedule”. A list of currently set recording schedules for that camera will appear.
To delete a recording schedule, select the trash can icon to the right of the schedule.
To add a new schedule, select “Add Recording Schedule”.
You can either set a one-time recording schedule, or have the camera record video on a regular basis.
If you select “One time Scheduling”, select the desired date, start and end time to record the video. If you select “Repeated Scheduling”, you will be prompted to select each weekday in which you’d like to record videos. When you’re done, select Save.
To view your recorded files, long click the camera name again and select Recorded File List.
A list of all recorded files from that camera will display. Select any recorded file to view it.
Select "Recording Schedule" to alternatively access the Recording Scheduler for that camera.
To view more options, use the MENU key on your device on the Watch my Cam menu.

You have options to view this User Guide again or logout of the application. Select Settings to change your password or view your account information.
After selecting Settings, select "Change Password".

After selecting Settings, select “Change Password”.
Enter your current password, then enter your desired new password in the next two boxes, then select Save. Your new password is now set.

From Settings menu, choose “Account Info”. Here, you can view your subscription information for RemoteCam.
